"A masterclass in building brands and driving results from a world class leader, How Not to Suck at Marketing is a must read for anyone who loves the art and science of modern marketing."

— Mike Steib, CEO of Artsy and author of The Career Manifesto

"Honest, direct, practical, and fun to read. Whether you’ve just started your career in marketing or are considering executive/c- suite options, you’ll find a ton of no-nonsense lessons and perspectives from the trenches... Marketing as a functional discipline is increasing in scope and importance, and Jeff weaves in both the strategic value of marketing as well as the practical tips needed to be successful (a.k.a. not sucking)."

— Alexandra Gobbi, CMO of Code42 Software

"If you’re new to marketing, start here. Perkins breaks down this incredibly complex discipline to the bare essentials you’ll need to market your company and build your personal brand. Thanks to his refreshingly honest stories and humorous anecdotes, you’ll find this marketing guide hard to put down."

— Drew Neisser, Founder of Renegade LLC and CMO Huddles, and author or Renegade Marketing

"Authentic, insightful, and entertaining. With his book, Jeff provides the background and blueprint to succeed in the role."

— Jeff Crow, Chief Marketing Officer, Core BTS

"As a finance leader, I view marketing as one of the highest leveraged functions in any organization. Jeff shares real-world examples of how to be successful in scaling a highly effective marketing team that delivers tangible returns on investment. I recommend this book for anyone looking to build an impactful career in marketing."

— Chad Gold, CFO of SalesLoft
